Acne vulgaris and its management
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have reviewed the attached photographs and you are having acne vulgaris.
It is a common disease seen in youngsters due to hormonal disturbances and seborrhoea.
It is not a reaction.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to use a salicylic acid facewash twice daily and apply benzoyl peroxide 2.5 percent gel on the pimples twice daily.
Since you are having moderate acne I would also recommend oral medication like capsule doxycycline 100 mg once daily at bedtime.
Since acne is a chronic disease the treatment has to be continued for a long time .
These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
