Question: Hi, I am a 77 year old white male who was doing just fine up until about a year ago. Then at about the same time I developed wrinkles and blemishes on my lower forehead. My dermatologist seemed (seems) unimpressed and says the wrinkles are normal for me, sneaking up on me after a lifetime of too much sun and getting older. The blemishes are a combination of keratosis (or barnacles of old age) but some are actinic variety (precancerous) which he removes with liquid Nitrogen). However, there has been an increasing accumulation of pimple-like blemishes intermixed with the wrinkles and under the skins and not removable with the liquid Nitrogen that he calls cysts and would need a surgical or other physical processes that he says would leave scars.Now I am starting to develope formations or growths along my already receded hairline (in the center portion:. Those with a compulsive activity of rubbing them with my fingers are not helping matters. And in a few locations I am developing areas that hurt when I touch them, as if the are "open"..OH YES...and I am losing more hair in these areas (balding)..I am starting to suspect that all these things are somehow related and are signs of something more ominous than either my primary care physician or dermatologist suspect...lke maybe some kind of forehead/scalp condition...possibly a variety of Cancer.

In any case I plan to call both Drs Monday, make appointments and be more explicit and even confrontational regarding my suspicions as I am describing them to you. XXXX
