Suggest Treatment For After Right-sided Wound On Forehead After Injury In Child

Question: My kid all of sudden fell down and got injury near to right side of forehead. It bleeded a lot, and we took him to near by hospital. Doctor did 5 stitches. and advised to take below medicine
Taxmo 100mg -(6 tablets) twice a day
Zerodol-sp ( 4 tablets) half a table/3 times a day
they also had given TT injection. My kid is not complaining any pain now. My question, do we need to take any scan to confirm no internal injury? if so, which scan do you recommend?
Also, is there any restriction of food we give to him?

Brief Answer:
CT scan brain
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Sorry for the delayed reply.
It is better to ascertain that there is no internal bleeding due to the injury. A CT scan of the brain is best to rule out any bleeding or clots inside the head.
A CT withing 48 hours of fall is useful and helps to rule out any serious injury.
Wish you good health.
