In reply to your follow up questions I am of opinion that attending doctor is the best judge of the current situation. The selection of ingredients in powder is from amongst commonly used drugs in such cases.
Spasma and
Bresol have similar action of relieving bronchial spasms that lead to breathing distress or
wheezing in chest. In initial phases of treatment there is every possibility of relapse of breathing distress and need for nebulisation can arise but with continued treatment this use will phase out.If Spasma has not given desired results Bresol is worth trying.
Use of curd is to be avoided as in ayurved it increases Kaph. Same is case with sour fruits. Seasonal fruits grown in area where you reside and fully ripe sweet in taste can be administered. Use of pinch of turmeric will be beneficial if continued.

Kuka apart from being
mucolytic agent has good effect on tonsilis and
adenoids. It helps to reduce adenoids and send them back to normal status.

Dosage of the drugs in ayurveda is variable as per age of person and state of disease. Usually one tea spoon of bresol and of septilin twice a day one tablet kuka twice is sufficient but can be varied by the attending doctor. It is always advisable to consult attending doctor on such issues.
Use of
steroids administered internally irrationally do have adverse effects but in aerosol mode they are minimal and must be used in emergency.
