Brief Answer:
Allergic Contact Dermatitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and I have understood it.

You have developed Allergic Contact Dermatitis to Hair XXXXXXX

If I was the treating doctor I would have started you on a short course of oral steroids (e.g prednisolone) in a dose of 0.75- 1 mg/kg/day, once daily after breakfast X 7 days. Lets say e.g if your body weight is 60 kg therefore the dose of prednisolone you need to take is 40 mg -60 mg, daily after breakfast.

Oral steroids would bring about rapid relief within 3-5 days.

An antacid is recommended along with oral steroids e.g pantoprazole 40 mg, empty stomach/before breakfast.

An oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10 mg once daily in the evening would provide you symptomatic relief from itching.

Topically you may use mometasone lotion (0.1%), twice daily, to be applied at the scalp skin.

Regards
