Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I have been told by ENT specialist that my sinus are clear but inflammation in nose ,so why do still have a blocked nose after three months tried neilmed twice dauly and was using nasonex but stopped it as did not help.
Noted your history of seen by an ENT who told about inflamed nose, sinuses being clear, have problem of clocked nose after 3 months of Neil-med and Nasonex nasal drops. Since you have not mentioned about investigations I would advise you the following: CT scan of nose and sinuses with detailed study to know the possible cause of nasal blockage. The reasons can be one of the following: Deviated nasal septum. Hypertrophied turbinates. Vasomotor rhinitis which is related to the psychological upheavals. One a proper diagnosis is made then go for surgery if indicated as this can help you the best to have relief of symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
