Brief Answer:
Preventive measures and steroid spray

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

There are multiple allergies that can cause cough. The commonest allergens are house dust mites, inhalants that we contract at work and the kind of food we eat, especially sour food items.

Meanwhile, we need to rule out bronchitis, asthma and other respiratory conditions such as sinusitis and allergic rhino sinusitis. Even acid reflux can also cause dry cough which may be treated as allergic cough and the medicines may become ineffective.

Treatment is aimed at confirming the diagnosis, preventing those things which induce allergy and administration of appropriate medicines.

Steroid nebulisation or steroid inhalers such as fluticasone along with oral antihistamine can help in alleviating the suffering.

Consult your doctor for a complete check up and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query; I'll be available for the follow up queries.
