Suggest Treatment For Allergic Insect Bite

Question: I have what looks like a spider bite. The picture of a spider bite I saw on the Net looks exactly like the one I have. How should I treat it? The Net says no antibiotics and cold compresses the Doctor from EMO Gave me antibiotics 500 mg Cephalexin 4 times a day and 800 MG Sulfamethoxazole /160 Mg Tmpos or Tmpds. Also a ointment to rub on bite area (the size of the rim of a coffee cup). The area is light red/pink. No open sore or dote in the middle. It is warm and the middle has a lump the size of a dime.
What should I do? Calling my doctor in morning. Should I be concerned? What say you?

Brief Answer:
Oral prednisolone
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
The picture and the history definitely goes with insect bite reaction.
The treatment your doctor has given seems to be fine and I think you should it for next five days.
Additionally, for faster relief I would suggest addition of low dose prednisolone for few days.
Avoid pricking, scratching of lesions.
Take antihistaminics for itching as required.
I am sure you are gonna be fine soon.
Take care
