Suggest Treatment For Allergic Skin Rashes
Insect bite, steroid cream
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX
Thank you for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
I appreciate your concern regarding the skin condition you have and i will try to answer your query in best possible way.
Grossly looking at your photograph, i think you might have got some insect bite reaction but it can also be Urticaria or Hives or contact dermatitis to any ornament or wrist watch. Thus the definitive diagnosis is still not possible unless a proper history and examination is not done.
Though the condition doesn't look much serious, i would suggest you consult your nearby dermatologist for proper diagnosis and management.
In my patients of insect-bite reaction, i usually suggest topical creams containing mid-potent steroid like mometasone mixed with antibiotic like fusidic acid for few days. Oral steroids can be added in extensive cases, which i dont think is required in your case. Antihistaminics should be taken to alleviate itching and irritation.
Cold sponging will also help with irritation.
Hope my answer has rightfully solved your query.
