Question : Could severe anorexia nervosa, in a 6'5" male cause numbness, burning, and severe pain in the feet?

Since anorexia nervosa causes metabolic disturbance, it can cause numbness, burning sensation and pain in the feet. The cause attributed for it is deficiency of vitamin B12 which is absorbed in small intestine. Since inadequate diet have inadequate content of vitamin B12 it causes deficiency symptoms.
