Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And GERD

Question: After eating dinner last night I felt a warm feeling start in my chest and go all the way down to my vagina. It felt like when they do a CT with XXXXXXX This morning I felt the same in my chest and left arm above my elbow. What could it be? I do suffer from anxiety and GERD.

I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your symptoms are typical for GERD that is manifested with burning sensation and chest pain after eating.

However if you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations in order to exclude any other cause especially cardiac issues :
- ECG
- Cardiac echo
- Chest x-rays
- Abdominal ultrasound

If all examinations will be OK than your symptoms are related to GERD.

Meantime I would suggest to take omeprazole to relieve your symptoms.

I saw a cardiologist a couple months ago for rapid heartbeat and chest pain. He ran tests and said my heart was healthy. He put me on antenolol to slow it down from it went from 115 to 84. Should I make another appointment?

Hi back,

As long as you did a cardiologic consultations a couple of months ago you don't need a new consultation with the cardiologist.

In your case your symptoms are related to GERD and you should take omeprasol to relieve your symptoms.
