Brief Answer: CBT,YOGA, MEDITATION. Detailed Answer: Hello there, Welcome to Healthcare magic, We are here to help you out, Anxiety in morning are usually due to increased cortisol level while getting up from bed , another important cause for morning anxiety is nicotine [late night smoking] withdrawal in morning, causing nervousness and anxiety. Identifying the cause helps to treat effectively, so try to answer my following questions, Do you sleep late at night? Do you smoke? Coming to treatment, the best treatment plan for anxiety is Cognitive and behavioural therapy[CBT], which usually involves life style modification and withdrawal from associated risk factors gradually. Try to meditate and calm yourself by doing yoga, as meditation and yoga helps to keep your mind calm and reduce the episodes of anxiety. Medications are usually the last mode of treatment, I usually treat my patients with alprazolam 0.25 mg thrice daily [once in 8 hours] for uncontrolled anxiety. It can be used for short term and you will need a written prescription from a doctor to get this medicine. Anxiety may be an initial symptom of underlying depression, so proper examination helps to identify it in initial stage and get treated accordingly.so if your symptoms worsens, it is advisable to visit the psychiatrist as soon as possible.
