Suggest Treatment For Anxiety, Nausea And Dryness Of Mouth

Dear doctor(s), from a few weeks, I feel weak, Moody, exhausted.
I also observed that my body kind of vibrates. Like shivering slightly. I don't know how to explain this. Light vibration in the whole body.
If I move my eye balls right & left or up & down, I feel slight pain. I also noticed my heart beats very fast when I get slight vibration like this.
I have consulted my family physician. He told me to eat properly, get enough sleep. Gave some tables too.
My family physician also told me to see a Neurologist. I went to a Neurologist but he told me to consult a Psychiatrist.
# What is the reason for this shivering or vibration?
# is this something to worry about?
i would reuest you to give a detailed explanation about all this doctor. because i am really confused how to explain these things to anybody. i hope u understand. these things cannot be explained in detail & will not be sure if the person on the other side is understanding this. For example, if somebody is having fever, headache that can be explained clearly but in my case, how to explain? i hope u r understanding what am trying to say now & hope u understood my question to u.
pls help me.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related doubts
I can understand your concern. Feeling weak, exhausted, mood swings, tremors or shakiness, palpitations or rapid heart beats, vibration like sensation in body etc symptoms are common symptoms of anxiety only.
But these symptoms are also seen in a number of medical conditions and these should be ruled out before making anxiety as diagnosis of your symptoms. Hyperthyroidism is one of common cause of such presentation. Thyroid function tests should be done to rule out this. Hyperthyroidism results in increased risk of anxiety and panic symptoms.
An ECG should be done to rule out any heart condition.
Deficiencies of certain vitamins especially Vitamin B12 deficiency also results in fatigue, exhaustion, mood swings, palpitations and increased anxiety attacks. This should also be checked.
Once these common causes are ruled out then we can comfortably label anxiety as cause of your symptoms. Anxiety occurs due to change in neurotransmission of noradrenalin and serotonin. Altered levels of these neurotransmitters result in anxiety symptoms. This is not a thing to worry. With proper treatment anxiety can be treated easily. Anxiety is a disorder like any other medical illness.
SSRIs are commonly used for treatment of anxiety. Fluoxetine, Paroxetine, Escitalopram etc are common drugs that can help. These are safe to use drugs and are free of serious side effects. The drugs will help to improve your functioning in about 2-4 weeks. The treatment should be continued for about 8-12 weeks and then can be stopped.
So just remain relaxed, visit a psychiatrist for evaluation.
Thanks. Take care
