Brief Answer:
Sounds like anxiety

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It does sound like anxiety. However, it would be good for you to have a physical exam and some blood work done just to make sure. It is especially important to have your thyroid checked because hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) can cause symptoms like anxiety and panic. If Your doctor feels that you do have anxiety and it is causing you significant distress, then it would be good to talk to a counselor, or to ask your doctor about medications. There are many things that have been shown to decrease anxiety and panic. Some of these are medications, meditation, yoga, exercise and counseling. I hope your symptoms are relieved soon.
Regards,
Dr. Robinson
