Brief Answer:
Fibromyalgia less likely.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I can see your question being answered regarding arthritis. At age of 78 head to toe arthralgia with headaches are likely arthritis. Possibility of fibromyalgia is less likely. Usually fibromyalgia is accompanied by tension headaches, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, anxiety and depression. You just have a headache and not every headache is associated with fibromyalgia.
With arthritis already a diagnosis , it should be treated first. Take NSAIDs or any other painkiller for the relief and talk to your rheumatologist and let them rule out fibromyalgia as well.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
Regards
Khan
