Question: I have been on and off on Tramadol 100 mg 4 times a day for my spine pain since 2009. I have a PID L4/5, S1 Nerve Root Impingement. Disc dessication is almost 100%. I have gone for semen analysis in 2012 once and 2015 and 2016 once each. All the time I have been diagnosed with Azoospermia. In 2015 I was on Anabolics of Tren Ace and Test Prop. I need to conceive with my wife as we are 34+ yrs old now. Pls help. I have already gone for blood test after ceasing use of steroids and my test and estro including FSH and other hormones have returned to normal. Still having aazoospermia

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

Thank you for writing to HCM. As your tests are normal it will be suggested that you wait for 8 weeks and repeat the semen test. If the azoospermia condition persists - then a further work up in your case will be required.
You will have to meet a urologist who will examine you and plan further investigations that will be required and help in the treatment planning

Hi Dr.

I forgot to mention that an ultrasound has been done of my scrotum as well and it is all normal. In the event that you have mentioned that i might have to see a urologist could there be an issue with my urinary tract or something?

Hello again

Even if the ultrasound is normal - an opinion with the urologist will be of added value
He will be able to assess and opine for any other problems identified
