Suggest Treatment For Back Pain Caused By Ankylosing Spondylitis
Could be Ankylosing spondylitis. Needs further workup
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for the query.
Do you have stiffness of the entire back?
Any neck stiffness at the back ?
Any tingling or numbness of the legs?
The back stiffness that improves through the day could indicate inflammation of the spine as in Ankylosing spondylitis.
Apply hot packs to the painful or stiff regions. Takes Tablet Diclofenac and Thicolchicoside combination twice a day for 5 days after meals which is a anti inflammatory and muscle relaxant combination. Also take Tablet Rantac 150mg twice a day for 5 days half an hour before food. Avoid bending forwards or lifting weights.
Kindly get an Xray of the spine in AP and Lateral views for a better picture of the problem.
Please do answer my queries as well, for an understanding of the pathology on the whole.
Thanks and regards.

I will try to consult in this week. Before that I would like to say that
1. I don't have stiffness in the entire back part. Its only in the lower back part.
2. Neck stiffness is also not there completely, but off late I observed that when I bend my neck back, some times I feel pain. I also understand that, it happens only when I use an improper posture during sleeping.
3. I don't have tingling and numbness in the legs.
and this stiffness is not recent. It has been prevailing for few years. I was thinking it because of bad sitting postures and my furniture at house and work place.
But recently, this is triggering UN-comfortness and a state of being worry.
Any way will consult doctor. Any suggestions which specialist to be considered. I stay in XXXXXXX if you can suggest any specific doctor, will visit him.
Regards
