Question : Had a severe back spasm last Tues and am experiencing tightness in chest. Went to ER when had spasm and they put me on pain and muscle relaxer mess. Just concerned now with this tightness in chest. Feels like a pulled muscle. Could this be related to the back muscle spasm

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query. Painkillers usually cause gastritis leading to feeling of tightness of chest.
I would advise that you should take an antacid like Omeprazole 40mg once a day before meals along with Domperidone 30mg.
If your symptoms persists, get yourself clinically examined and investigated by your doctor.
