Suggest Treatment For Bipolar Disorder While On Lamictal

Question: I was prescribed lamictal about 1 month ago. I had a pretty significant rash that has finally begun healing. However, more significantly, I call 3 people at around 7am without having any recollection of doing so. I am really afraid. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. My mother died of Alzheimer's and, of course, I am constantly concerned that this disease will be my end also. I'm hoping it's just the new prescription.

What was the indication for starting lamictal?
In case, you are suffering from seizure episodes, then complex partial seizures may manifest like this.
You may do an act which you are totally unaware and doesn't remember it later too.
Provide details regarding dose and disease.

I was prescribed Lamotrigine 25MG for crying spells because of the bipolar disorder.

The incidence of calling friends without any recollection of act is not likely due to the drug.
You can get it changed with some other alternative drug for bipolar disorder after consulting your treating psychiatrist.
