Question: Hello doctor I am 35 yrs old and 2 children, I have a 8mm polyp in my entdometrium and bleeding is continuous from last 12days I am taking
ternaxa MF but still it is stopped can u give advice to take duphuston 10 mg for menstrual cycle to stop my doctor suggested to removal of polyp due personal reasons for this month I can go for it .please suggest me thanku

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, I understand your problem.
Polyp should be removed whenever possible for you go for removal.
Till then to stop bleeding take tablet norethisterone 10 mg thrice a day for 3 days and then 10 mg twice a day till bleeding stops and then 5 mg twice a day for 10 days.
After stopping the drug you will again get periods in 3-5 days.
Also keep taking tranexa thrice a day till bleeding stops.
In case bleeding still continues then no option but get the polyp removed.
Duphaston will nor help much and also will tale time to act.
