Suggest Treatment For Bleeding During Intercourse

Question: OK so I am 7 months post partum. This was my 2 child. I am 27 I have been taking adderall for 6 years. I stopped taking it while I was pregnant. I started taking it again again 8 weeks post partum after I got the OK from both Dr. My ob and my mental health Dr. For 3 months I had abnormal bleeding. I figured it was just my body getting used of the birth controle again. (orthotrycyclin lo) Finally everything was normal again. Then all of a sudden I started bleeding during intercourse alot and it's bright red. It happen 3 times and I finally saw my Ob they ordered and ultra sound but it was not for a month. So while I waited I did not take anything but my birth controle. I waited like 2 weeks and had intercourse and there was no bleeding this was 3 times in the span of 2 weeks no bleeding during intercourse. So I went for my ultra sound apt and the Dr. Did not see anything. I had also told him that the bleeding had stopped left the office with clean XXXXXXX of health. Well Monday I started taking my adderall again 20 mg time release 1 a day at 8 am everyday this week. Last night I had intercourse and started bleeding. Could it be the adderall making me bleed? If not what could it be? I also did make and apt with my ob it in 4 weeks thats the earliest I could get.
Brief Answer:
get a pap smear and colposcopy.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
i can understand your concerns.
The cause of your bleeding can be something to do with your cervix. Generally infection or cancer of cervix cause bleeding during intercourse.
These cannot be seen by an ultrasound.
Birth controll pills, aderall do not generally cause bleeding during intercourse.
I will advise you to get a pap smear done and also a colposcopy of the cervix will be better. That will help define the cause of bleeding.

I had a pap done in August of last year. Is it possible it didn't show something?
Brief Answer:
yes
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
That is highly likely as pap smears do not always pick up. That is why they need to be repeated and a colposcopy guided biopsy will be better.
