Suggest Treatment For Bleeding From A Black Area On Top Of Mole
Question: I just noticed black area on top of a mole ive had most my life that never looked concerning before. No symptoms but minor bleeding. Is it just irritated?
Hello.
In my opinion it is just a little irritation.
I would recommend a little iodine on it or oxygenated water as desinfectant.
Be careful not to irritated it any more.
If bleeding persists consult your dermatologist.
Hope to have helpful.

The left side was before some blood trickled out (very minimal blood) the right was how it looked after-does it look smaller/less black? Is that more consistent with irritation/blood blister than cancerous lesion??
Brief Answer:
There are no features of malignancy
Detailed Answer:
It looks like irritated and bit inflammed mole and it can occur after minor trauma, insect bite or even with no obvious cause. There are no some features of malignancy so you should not be worried.
I suggest to put classic antiseptic at this point and cover it with sterile gauze.
Wait for few days and see will redness improve. It it progresses, you may need antibiotic but probably it wont be required. However,in fututre all these moles should be followed up by dermatologist. WIsh you good health.
