Question: my son scratched his scrotum area and has been bleeding for two hours.
He has pinched area with pressure, applied ice cubes, and neosporin, band aides nothing is working.
The scratch is small.

I have read through your query in detail.
I assume your son is 32 years old and does not have any bleeding disorder.
The skin over scrotum is very thin and sensitive such that even a slight harsh scratch can make it bleed for a while. He has taken correct measures by applying ice cubes and neosporin, one of the ways to stop the bleeding is applying cotton swabs over the scratch and once it soaks up blood then please apply more swabs without disturbing the first swab. Pinching may not help much, continuing to apply ice and cotton swabs without disturbing the clots formed will help arrest the bleeding in most cases.

It is important to get the wound seen by a doctor if you feel that that wound is big in size and wound infection is a possibility.
