Suggest Treatment For Blisters On Insect Bite
Question: Got a bite last week. Red round inflamed. Now has blisters on it. Any idea what this could be?
Brief Answer:
Insect Bite.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
I have seen the photograph of your lesion. It seems to be insect bite.
I advise following in such situations:
1. To apply a combination cream containing antibiotic fusidic acid and steroid beclamethasone commonly available in the market with name Futop-B. Apply this over the affected area twice daily.
2. To take Anti Allergic like Levocetrizine 5 mg once a day if you have itching over the area.
Continue this for 7 days and then revert back after 7 days to me with photograph of the affected area.
If you have any further query please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
