Suggest Treatment For Blisters On The Buttocks

Question: My son has had blisters/ wart things on his butt for months now. They go down a bit and flare up some, but they haven't left. They also have dry patches around them sometime. What could they be?

Hello,
Thanks for writing to health care magic.I can understand your concern.

Blisters and warty growths over buttocks can be due to viral infection probably molluscum.

It is quite common at this age,however exact diagnosis can be made if you upload a photograph of lesions.This facility is available here.It will be more helpful for me.

molluscum,wait and watch,heal on its own.

Hello, thanks for follow up.I have reviewed images uploaded by you.

It seems to be molluscum.

White bumps suggest active infection ,while red lesions and black patches suggest healed lesions.

In most cases molluscum will heal on it's own.I will advise you to wait and watch.You may apply antibiotic cream like t bact over lesions.
