Suggest Treatment For Bloated Abdomen With Burning Sensation And Nausea
Question: I have Fybromyalgia, just diagnosed recently. Developed a few days ago, bloating, gas, and severe discomfort across lower part of abdomen. The pain is now on left side and hurts thru to my back, burning sensation.
Also feel nausea. Temperature normal. Not constipated. Have just my Ovaries no uterus, I eat Gluten free.
Does not hurt when I urinate.
Recently my Fybromyalgia has flared up. Three days ago,I developed severe bloating and gas.Pain across lower part of abdomen.I am not constipated.yesterday the pain was worse and mostly on lower left side, pain worsens when I stretch my legs or roll over in bed. My lower back hurts on that side also. No fever, but feel nausea sometimes when I eat. Taking Tylenol Arthritis, and found some antibiotics from 2011 Sulfa, so started to take that yesterday. No choice as we are away from home.I do not have pain when I pass my water.

Brief Answer:
many possibilities
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I am sorry that you are in pain. There are many possible causes of the pain that you describe. It could be from an viral syndrome, ovarian cyst, ulcer, gastritis, diverticulitis or colitis.
I do not think that taking random antibiotics is likely to help this. If pain is severe or if you develop fever you should go to emergency right away.
If the pain is not severe you can try warm heat to your abdomen and tylenol but if it is not resolving you really will need to see a doctor for an exam and some blood testing. You may also need an ultrasound or CT of your abdomen.
I hope you are feeling better soon,
please let me know if you have further questions
