Detailed Answer:
Dear friend, Greetings from HCM. I understand your problem. Yes you can divide the dose, I would suggest that you take Tab. Galvus met 50/500 UN the morning and metformin 500 at night. We will see how it is accepted. Discuss about my suggestions with your treating doctor.
Meanwhile, the bloating could be due to gastritis also. You can discuss about adding antacid or proton pump inhibitor drug and see if it helps.
Avoid spicy, fried, sour, or processed food. Take more of green leafy vegetables and fruits. Divide your meal in to 3 to 4 small parts with snacks in between. Do practice yoga and pranayama. Take boiled and fresh food. With lots of fluids. Millets have good amount of dietary fibers and minerals. Walk at least an hour a day. Your sugar levels are ok now. You check your HbA1c, lipid profile, thyroid profile with fasting and post prandial glucose after a period of 2 months . Let's see how it goes . You will be alright soon .Thanks and do contact us for more questions. Take care
what is the Galvus met 50/1000 mg concept? Is it similar to insulin 30/70 where it works at 50 mg power for first two - 3 hours of food and works 1000 mg power after 4-5 hours to control sugar spike post lunch? and similarly after dinner 50 mg and to control fasting sugar 1000 mg?
Thanks for your time and valuable answers.
