Question: Qi have been taking a low dose aspirin for a couple of months. I caught a cold and when blowing my nose the mucus has blood mixed in. Do I need to go to the emergency room?

HI,

There is just no reason to go to the ER. The blood is as a result of the infection and not aspirin. Try to blow the nostril less violently when you next do so to avoid causing further bleeding.
