Question: SIR, MY BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL FASTING 384 AND I AM TAKING GLADOR-4 1 TB BEFORE MEAL AND GLYCOMATE-SR 500 1 AFTER BREAK FAST AND 1 TAB SFTER DINNER. PLZ ADVICE ACCORDINGLY

Thanks for posting your query .

Fasting of 384 is extremely high . In my practise at such high blood sugar levels I would initiate Insulin treatment along with previous oral diabetic medicines . I would advise you the same .

You said you are taking Tab Glador-4 before meal . I need more clarification on that . Do you take it before breakfast, lunch and/or dinner . Kindly specify . Also let me know since how long you are on these drugs ?

Also I would like to know your recent HBA1c levels , Serum Creatinine levels and Postprandial Blood sugar levels .

Kindly let me know whether you are comfortable taking Insulin 2-3 times a day .
