Suggest Treatment For Blurred Vision And Headaches

Question: Sometimes my vision becomes blurred (same condition like when we see the sun for sometime and our vision becomes blurred). This remains for around half hour and I am able to see clearly but then I get headache. First this happened in around every 6 months. I got some medication and I was alright. But now its happening everyday from last 2 days.
I wanted to go to a doctor but I dont know any god eye doctor in XXXXXXX Please advise.

I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having blurred vision lasting for about half an hour followed by headache.
The most common cause for this symptom in your age group is migraine. It is common to have blurred vision in prodromal phase of migraine.
The treatment is by the use of analgesic tablets and anti migraine drugs in the acute phase.
Since you are also having recurrent episodes prophylactic drugs will be helpful.
I commonly use drugs like Flunarizine or Beta blockers like Propranolol for prophylaxis against migraine.

Hence you need to consult your doctor for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

There are many good eye hospitals in XXXXXXX like XXXXXXX Nethralaya , Nethradhama, XXXXXXX Eye clinic, Sankara Eye hospital.....you can consult any of the hospitals and preliminary eye testing to rule out eye conditions like refractive error.
If it is Migraine then the best person to treat you will be a neurologist or a physician.
