Suggest Treatment For Body Pains, Chills, Low Grade Fever And Sore Throat
Question: Hi, I have had flu like symptoms since last Tuesday ( achy, chills and low grade fever) three days ago my mouth broke out in cankers and my gums are swollen. I went to urgent care yesterdatY and they put me on augmentin. Now I also have diareaha . I also have a sore throat. I need to be well for work. Shouldn't the antibiotic be working by now?

First, the symptoms of loose stools are a side effect of the antibiotics augmentin. It's a known side effect of the antibiotics. You have two options- first to change the antibiotics, and second to add a Probiotics like sporolac.
as for the mouth ulcers, I think it would be good to start the b complex tablets like becosule. There is no urgent treatment suggested that would give you instant relief. The ulcers are part of the viral infection. When that heals, the ulcers go too.
As for treatment-
I would suggest to start antibiotic azithromycin instead, if you want to change. This is a prescription drug, please get it prescribed by your doctor. Add steam inhalation and warm saline gargles 4 time per day. The addition of multivitamins will help you heal faster. And take plenty of fluids and rest.
