Suggest Treatment For Bowel Incontinence

Question: When I wake up in the morning, there is a strong pressure of gas. While passing gas there is leakage of some liquid stools. Hence after leaving the bed I had to rush straightly to commode and pass the gas. I am habitual of drinking two glass of water in the morning. After drinking the water I pass normal stools (neither hard nor liquid). Whenever I feel strong pressure of gas, I have to use commode due to leakage. I have to use commode two-three times between noon to late night. Please suggest some medicines.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. As I can understand that you are developing some incontinence of stool (Ideally when the sphincter works properly, it can limit solid or liquid matter while letting out the gaseous matter). In order to strengthen the sphincter muscles you have to alternately contract and relax the anal sphincter for thrice a day, each set comprising of multiple contractions and relaxations.

Other than that you have to increase your dietary fiber intake. You need to take plenty of green leafy vegetables and also dietary fiber supplements. Also take curd or yogurt since it contains beneficial bacteria which should help.

Medicines would not help in such a situation.
