I developed a dime size painful lump on the right side outside of the labia, I squeezed it it a little and it increased in size slightly. The skin is intact, a little red and painful if touched. I use pads daily due to stress incontinence and this has happened a couple of times in past. Any suggestion?
This is most likely a Bartholincyst. This happens due to perineal infections due to which the cyst duct gets blocked. Do a sitz bath and apply Betadine ointment locally. Also, get a triple H test done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
