If the chemo proved to be failure already since we used the largest possible portion, is there no necessary to use the same chemo med after the surgery? Thanks
Brief Answer:
alternative is radiotherapy/Herceptin
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If the chemo has proved to be a failure, then radiotherapy is the alternative approach. Herceptin is another option as well.
Chemotherapy could be tried even before the surgery, if the patient responds well. But, in your case, it is not responding. Hence go for radiotherapy or Herceptin use.
Thank you and regards,
