Suggest Treatment For Breathing Difficulty

Possibility of bronchitis is more in your case.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
By your history and description, possibility of bronchitis is more.
Another possibility is asthma.
So, better consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT will diagnose if bronchitis or asthma is present.
It will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment is based on severity only.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
Please let me know
1. Do you allergies?
2. Do you have recurrent rhinitis?
3. Since how many days you are using fluticasone nasal spray?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.

1. In my last meeting with an ENT surgeon at St. Johns hospital, I was diagnosed of allergic Rhinitis. I had complained of frequent sneezing and nasal irritation when I wake up in the morning and after I have a shower. He said that I may have to visit him after 6 weeks. I was given the following medicines:
a) Tab Clavam 625 mg - 2 * 5 days
b) Tab Glemont F - 1* 10 days
c) Freeair Nasal spray - 2 times / day for 6 weeks
The doctor wasn't sure about what exactly I'm allergic to and we didn't do any test to find out the same.
2. After taking the medication, My Rhinitis (the sneezing, running nose and irritation) reduced and is almost gone. I don't sneeze anymore in the mornings and after a shower. Before I started treatment I was having this problem for almost 4 - 5 months.
3. I've been using the fluticasone nasal spray for 3 weeks now.
Is it possible to find precisely what I'm allergic to? Are the tests for the same?
Looking forward to hear from you. Thanks again!
Regards,
XXXX
Get done allergy testing.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, allergy testing is available. So you can get it done. It is blood test.
And PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) is to rule out asthma or bronchitis. It is altogether a different test. And your symptoms like breathlessness, difficulty in inhalation etc can be due to bronchitis or asthma.
So PFT is needed.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
