Suggest Treatment For Brown Spots On Penis After Unprotected Intercourse

default
Posted on Tue, 5 Jan 2016
Question: Can you identify the brown spot on my penis, and the white scaly bump patches.
I don't know if I have just been paying more attention to the area and I just noticed them or if they just appeared. The spots are painless and do not itch. I would like to know if this is an std or something else.

Background: Had unprotected sex 7 weeks ago.
-Was tested for std's (10 panel test: chlamydia, gonnorhea, herpes, etc) after 1.5, 3, and 6 weeks, all came back negative

Brief Answer:
Brown spot looks like a wart or a melanotic macule

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have reviewed the attached photographs.
I can appreciate a small brown coloured spot on the penile shaft but unable to notice any scaly white patches. The brown spot seems to be slightly raised in two of the images. Is it slightly raised or absolutely flat?
If slightly raised there are chances of it being a wart. Genital wart is a sexually transmitted disease caused human papilloma virus.
If totally flat there is a possibility of it being a melanotic macule which is a normal pigmentation seen in some individuals and needs no treatment.
I recommend you to consult a dermatologist in person and get the diagnosis confirmed.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to clarify any further doubts.
Regards
Dr Asmeet

The spot is slightly raised but I think because of where it sits when my penis is flaccid.
