Suggest Treatment For Bruise On The Leg

Question: I fell over two weeks ago and have a large bruise and lump on my leg .will it be safe to fly on a 6hr flight ?
Brief Answer:
It is not safe to fly without proper diagnosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
According to attached image, it seems that you may have a pretty large fluid collection in the soft tissues (hematoma). It is also obvious that you have had some vein thrombosis of this leg before and you suffer from chronic veins insufficiency.
If you plan the 6 hours trip, it would be good to have single heparine injection before the flight. You should also have soft tissues ultrasound and veins doppler ultrasound. If you do not have to fly, please have this tests done before the trip.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
