Suggest Treatment For Bulging Veins In Arms And Chest
Question: why causes veins in my arms and chest to turn bright blue randomly and sometimes bulge . it's quite frightening.
Brief Answer:
Possibly due to Heart disease
Detailed Answer:
Hi, I am Dr Mittal. I have read your message. I think I can help you.
Looking into the history of the questions asked by you I find that you have valvular heart disease. In this condition, there are spells of time when the heart doesn't pump blood sufficiently.
During such episodes the veins will Turn blue. once the blood pumps normally again it would disappear.
I would suggest testing a Holter monitoring test to rule out any major arrhythmia.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal
