Since this appeared suddenly therefore I assume it is either an Insect bite or a hive. I suggest you to take a tablet of cetrizine 10 mg once daily for a week.

Seems like a wheal i.e a hive. Itching can be subjective. I would suggest that you use a soothing anti-itch lotion and also suggest a tablet of cetrizine 10 mg once daily for a period of 5 days. Cetrizine is available otc
