Suggest Treatment For Bumps In Perineal Area Near Anus
Question: I have a significant number (20+) of tiny, flesh-colored bumps in the perineal area between my scrotum and anus. They do not itch and I only noticed them by accident recently. I do not know how long they have been there. I am very concerned that these could be something related to an STD. Are these genital warts? Could they be something else?
Brief Answer:
Kindly provide pictures

Hi
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
I have seen the attached picture.
From first appearance ,they do not look like any std to me ,but sorry to say that the picture quality is not that great .
I would suggest that you click some good resolution close up images of the affected area and upload them here on this page .
I am sure I will be able to help you better once you provide me the pictures .

I uploaded a several other photos. I'm not sure if the quality will be good enough for you to zoom. I only have a camera on my phone.
I am also concerned about the larger, purplish growth near my anus. Bit of an embarrassing problem. Is that a hemorrhoid? Could that be something more serious.
I'm feeling very concerned...please let me know if the photos are not sufficient and I will try to snap a few more.

Brief Answer:
Hair follicle prominences, not STD's.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
Thanks for the pictures. I have closely seen the pictures.
You surely don't need to worry since the lesions are just follicular prominences.
Such lesions are quite common in many people especially in the groin region.
Nothing really needs to be done about them since these can normally occur in many people.
As far as the growth near anus is concerned, it is either a skin tag or a haemorrhoid.
Owing to poor resolution of images, I cannot really differentiate only in the basis of images.
I would suggest you to see a nearby doctor to get the anal lesion examined, for the other skin lesions, you need not worry.
