Suggest Treatment For Bumps On Labia
Question: I am very concerned as I noticed these bumps on my labia. I am sexually active, 24 years old.
Two days ago I went to my doctor she did not do a pap test. She took a vaginal swab without using that particular instrument to open the vagina.
Hopefully these bumps didn't just appear a day after my appointment because she looked and said it seems to be hormonal.
I'm scared to death that it is HPV, or warts of some kind. Last night I was so sick to my stomach.
I hope everything is alright.

May i ask is it normal to be having discharge and an itch?
Im so embarrased by this. Will it take long to go?
As for the skin tags can they go on their own? Ive never heard of them being on the vagina.

Brief Answer:
Can be a vaginal fungal infection.
Detailed Answer:
The discharge and an itch can be due to a mild vaginal infection. A vaginal swab culture will help in proper diagnosis. It will go after proper treatment of 1-2 weeks. The skin tags may remain as it is or may reduce with time. In case these are persistent then genital warts need to be ruled out.
