Hi,
Welcome to HCM...
You said you have itchy erythematous papular rash on right buttock since one month. It may be either contact dermatitis or tinea corporis. For the firm diagnosis I have to see the photos of affected parts. Kindly upload the photos. And please answer few questions as below...
- is there any other systemic diseases like DM,anaemia or other?
- family history of similar or other disease?
- past history of any disease, medication or sugery?
- current medications you take?
- type of work, job or profession?
Please answer above queries and post the photos of affected parts..
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Keratosis pilaris most probably
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back to HCM..
Ok..the lesions on right buttock is not itchy or burning..right? Thanks for photo, the lesions seem keratotic papular lesions and exfoliating at some places...it not contact dermatitis or fungal infection.... I think ..most probably it may be keratosis pilaris. As the lesions are erythematous..it may be called keratosis pilaris rubra.
There is abnormal keratinisation in upper parts of hair follicles.exact cause is not known. There may be genetic influence. It might clear without treatment. However, you may apply moisturiser cream containing urea and salicylic acid. You may also apply vitamin E and alovera cream. Vitamin A ,vitamin E and vitamin C may be taken orally for long time. Avoid soap at bath.
Still,you consult dermatologist personally.
I hope this would help you, still any query, you are welcome.
Thanks.
