Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation And Red Bumps On Head Of Penis

Question: I have burning and some red bumps on head of my penis. I tested std and herpes 1 was Equivocal and all others tests were negative. I have blood and pus cells in my urine. I hav. Taken aantibiotics for 15 days. But still i have burning some bumps. Pl suggest what should i do.?

Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
Equivocal test results does not mean positive or negative.it is not conclusive.you need to repeat the test after 1 month.
If it is igm do not consider it redo it us of no use. Only if it us igg antibodies then you can GI for retest again after 1 month.only IG-G antibodies help in diagnosis
So you can wait for 1 month repeat the test or ask for any confirmatory test like western blot if available.

You clean the area with warm saline twice daily and You can use some topical antibiotics cream like fucidin or silverex as some pus also quoted by you. You can take antihistamine like cetrizine.
