Brief Answer:
Supportive care for anal fissure

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I reas your question and i understand your concern. Painful stools passing with slight blood and painful to touch peri anal area with a skin tag kind of bump all very much favours anal fissure and needs to be managed. You need to consult a doctor , they will assess the anal area and will prescribe some medications to relax the anal sphincter like topical nitroglycerine, anesthetic gels etc. More important would be to modify diet and lifestyle. Eat more fibrous diet, take more fluids, use laxatives if stools are hard, adapt good bowel habits and dont resists to pass stools or delay them as that makes tip of the stool hardened and worsen the fissure or rather cause it in first place. Exercise regularly and avoid straining in bowel movements. I am sure it will help.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Brief Answer:
Needs anal fissure management

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

preparation H ointment is basically for hemorrhoids , your symptoms fit more of anal fissure. Anal dilation, relaxation of anal sphincters and topical vasodilators will help more. Preparation H wont be that helpful. Sitz bath with saline and povidone solution water will help.

Talk to your doctor and let them have a look.

I hope it helps.

Brief Answer:
Nitroglycerine ointment

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

Anal fissure main stay of treatment is keeping bowel movement soft and prevent constipations. With good care and bowel habits, 80 % resolves . 2nd line of management is with topical vasodilators creams. Intra anal nitroglycerine ointments are used for that purpose. Talk to your doctor and let them help you in this regard.

Take care XXXXXXX
