Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In The Rectal Area
It could be inflammation or Proctitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Do you have any earlier issues with your GI system.
How frequently are you passing stools.
With age the bowel transit time increases and the bowel activity decreases. Therefore some constipation is natural.
As for your burning it could be some mild infection or inflammation. Are you having any blood or mucus in stools?
I usually prescribe my patients Tab Paracetamol and Tab Pantoprazole both twice daily.
You could see your GP and get a Stool culture done.
That would clarify whether there is any infection. It would be best to see a Surgeon who could examine you and advice accordingly as it is difficult for me to give complete advice without examining you.
But, do not worry. Try the medicines and get the test done and you should get better soon. For further queries do feel free to ask me.
Take care,
