Suggest Treatment For Burns On The Body After Accidentally Spilling Hot Water
Question: Hello doctors,
The day before yesterday i had burnt myself with some hot water on my face, neck breast and arm. My pain has gone away but i have the dead skin falling out that leaves like a wound. I have been applying Aloe Vera Gel that dries up my skin that am not sure i should continue using. I would love to know whats the best treatment to heal my skin and not causing more damages on my face.

Brief Answer:
Dear it will take few weeks to heal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to the HCM,
Dear from your pics it seems that these are first degree burns and can be healed on their own.
Since first degree burns are simple burns and human skin has tendency to change and turnover every few weeks. So applying any burnheal ointment and antiseptic cream would help.
If you get fever or pain then taking antibiotic for example amoxicillin 250 three times and simple painkiller would also help.
Otherwise simple burnheal ointment and antiseptic cream for local application might help.
Hopefully my answer will be helpful,
please do share in case you need more help.
