Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
I have seen the pic attached, you have developed post inflammatory hypopigmentation at the area of chemical burn.
To treat the same, in my patients I prescribe
mometasone cream once in a day
tacrolimus ointment 0.1% twice in a day.
Peptide like melgain over affected area in night followed by sun exposure in morning for three to five minutes.
You may Follow the same for three weeks then get back for follow up.
Should there be any other query, please write back.

Hi,
Thanks for writing back.
It seems you have acne too along with hypopigmentation.
Solodyn or minocycline help in treating acne while tacrolimus has been prescribed to improve hypopigmentation. Steroids work well in conjunction with tacrolimus to repigment the lesions. However steroids may flare up acne too and hence your doctor might have avoided adding it.
Right now you may continue your doctor's prescription as it should help you. I would prefer that you start melgain too as it doesn't induce acne and helps in faster repigmentation.
Hope this helped.
Take care
