Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist (DM). Management of gallstone is surgical that is cholecystectomy. And it is done when it is symptomatic. Among asymptomatic indications are multiple small stones, large stone that is size more than 2 cm, porcelain gallbladder that is calcified wall of gallbladder, in diabetics. So calcified gallstone is not an indication ofr cholecystectomy.
