Question : I think I have canker sores and I'm using Mycostatin oral and it is not working, I also tried salt water and Peroxyl mouth sore rinse, please help.

B COMPLEX VITAMINS and FOLIC ACID supplementation along with BONJELA OINTMENT containing cetalkonium chloride and choline salicyltae applied locally can be used locally for the pain and burning/irritation. Doxycycline course can be prescribed if the lesions persist. In my clinical practice prednisolone and doxycycline crushed tablets applied directly on the canker sore twice a day for three days can lead to rapid healing. Tobacco chewing and smoking should be strictly avoided.
