Brief Answer:
Normal commensal replaced with candida - Need probiotics

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Jyothi BL and I will be answering your query.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. It appears you are having carbohydrate malabsorption due to change in commensal or normal bacteria in the intestines.
2. The normal bacteria appears to be replaced by yeast positive or candida organisms. A recent course of antibiotics (in the past six months) could have caused this. You might have diarrhea at present due to this. Candida are normally present in less quantity, but due to loss of bacteria, it has proliferated highly.
3. You need to take probiotics to improve gut bacteria. Also yogurt will be useful.
4. Fiber are normally present and you can continue with same diet.

I would like to know about your symptoms

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.

Brief Answer:
Symptoms concur with loss of commensal bacteria

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking again.

Due to change in bacteria, increased fermentation of food will occur, which can cause flatulence. Due to this, intestinal irritation and increased motility will occur, leading on to diarrhea.

1. Have adequate hydration.
2. Take probiotics and also yogurt.
3. Take more soluble fiber diet from fruits and vegetables.
4. Avoid processed food.

Symptoms should reduce within 3-4 days.

Hope it helps.
